Job Overview

We are seeking a Industrial Electrical Superintendent in Greenville, South Carolina with a strong background in industrial electrical construction to oversee field operations, manage crews, and ensure the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills, deep technical knowledge of high-voltage and industrial electrical systems, and a track record of successfully managing complex construction schedules in heavy industrial environments.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electrical crews and subcontractors on industrial projects.
Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, codes, and safety standards.
Oversee installation of high-voltage systems, switchgear, power distribution, controls, and specialized industrial equipment.
Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment needs to meet project schedules and budgets.
Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Safety teams to ensure project execution aligns with company standards.
Maintain accurate field documentation including daily reports, schedules, change orders, and progress updates.
Train, mentor, and develop field staff to promote productivity, quality, and safety.
Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for clients, inspectors, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

7+ years of electrical construction experience, with at least 3+ years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
Strong background in industrial electrical systems, including substations, motor controls, process automation, and heavy power distribution.
In-depth knowledge of NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E, and industrial safety practices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Journeyman or Master Electrician License preferred.
Willingness to travel or relocate as project needs require.
