Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager in Piscataway, New Jersey to lead large-scale industrial and utility electrical projects. Projects include substations, battery energy storage systems (BESS), critical facilities, and institutional infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven track record of delivering complex electrical projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of industrial and utility electrical projects from planning through commissioning.
- Develop and oversee project schedules, budgets, and manpower resources.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, utilities, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance on high-voltage systems, substations, and energy storage solutions.
- Mentor, coach, and lead project teams to drive collaboration and accountability.
- Support innovation with prefabrication, BIM, and efficiency-driven methods.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of project management experience in electrical construction, industrial, or utility sectors.
- Expert knowledge of high-voltage systems, substations, and large-scale electrical infrastructure.
- Proven success delivering projects from concept through closeout.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
- PMP, PE, or equivalent certifications a plus.
