Electrical Project Manager (Boulder, Colorado) Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a qualified Electrical Project Manager (Boulder, Colorado) to oversee a long-term electrical service contract at a major manufacturing campus in Boulder, Colorado. Rather than managing multiple ground-up construction projects, you’ll oversee a long-term service partnership with one of the contractor’s largest industrial clients, leading electrical maintenance, renovations, and facility upgrades for a dedicated onsite workforce.
Electrical Project Manager Responsibilities
- Manage electrical service, maintenance, and upgrade projects throughout the pharmaceutical facility
- Coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials, and subcontractors
- Work directly with the client to prioritize work requests and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Support the onsite Superintendent and field team of approximately 30 electricians
- Oversee project budgets, job costing, forecasting, and change orders
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, quality expectations, and project schedules
- Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment for ongoing facility improvements
- Lead project meetings and communicate progress with internal leadership and the customer
Electrical Project Manager Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing electrical construction projects for an electrical contractor
- Experience with industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, healthcare, mission critical, or similar operating facilities preferred
- Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, scheduling, and project financials
- Experience managing service work, renovations, and occupied facility projects is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
