Traveling Electrical Superintendent Responsibilities Include
- Lead and supervise electrical construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and institutional standards.
- Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and project managers to ensure efficient execution of electrical work.
- Utilize Bluebeam for reviewing plans, conducting takeoffs, and collaborating with the team.
- Ensure adherence to NEC codes, OSHA safety regulations, and institutional construction standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Conduct job site inspections, safety meetings, and quality control checks.
- Manage procurement of electrical materials, tools, and equipment to meet project timelines.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide technical solutions to keep projects on track.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work progress, RFIs, change orders, and inspections.
- Train and mentor field staff while enforcing safety protocols and company policies.
Traveling Electrical Superintendent Requirements
- Skilled field supervisor with at least 5 years of experience managing crews and running large electrical construction projects.
- Must have an active journeyman or master electrician license.
- Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and construction safety requirements.
- Proficient with Bluebeam
- Detail-oriented and well-organized.
- Ability to travel to job site located in Western Texas.
