Goliath Construction Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a leading electrical contractor seeking an experienced Traveling Electrical Superintendent to oversee field operations for workforce housing, amenities, and temporary infrastructure projects supporting large-scale data center construction.
This is a unique opportunity to lead commercial electrical construction projects that directly support one of the nation’s fastest-growing industries. Projects include workforce housing, dining facilities, recreation spaces, administrative buildings, utility infrastructure, and other support facilities, with project values reaching $30 million.
The ideal candidate has a strong commercial electrical construction background and enjoys leading field operations on fast-paced, traveling projects.
Traveling Electrical Superintendent Responsibilities:
- Lead all onsite electrical field operations for workforce housing and support infrastructure projects
- Supervise field personnel, foremen, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure safe and efficient project execution
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and daily construction activities
- Partner with Project Managers to maintain project schedules, budgets, and production goals
- Ensure work complies with project specifications, NEC requirements, and company quality standards
- Conduct daily planning meetings, safety meetings, and field coordination activities
- Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and project turnover
- Maintain project documentation, production reports, and progress updates
- Travel to project sites throughout Oklahoma and Wyoming as projects require
Traveling Electrical Superintendent Qualifications
- 7+ years of electrical construction experience with progressive field leadership responsibilities
- Experience as an Electrical Superintendent, General Foreman, or Foreman on commercial electrical construction projects
- Proven success leading electrical projects valued up to $30 million
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical construction methods, NEC requirements, and OSHA safety standards
- Ability to coordinate multiple crews, subcontractors, and project schedules
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel and work on project assignments in Oklahoma and Wyoming
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent field experience preferred
