About the Role
Goliath Construction Consulting is seeking an experienced Traveling Electrical Project Scheduler to manage and maintain project timelines for large-scale electrical builds across multiple locations nationwide. You’ll ensure schedules align with construction milestones and support the delivery of mission-critical data centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to plan all electrical construction activities
- Track schedule progress and identify risks, delays, and recovery strategies
- Conduct weekly and monthly schedule updates and reporting for stakeholders
- Review subcontractor and vendor timelines for integration into master schedules
- Travel to project sites nationwide to verify progress and collaborate with field leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of electrical or MEP construction scheduling experience
- 2+ years of experience on data center or mission-critical projects preferred
- Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel-based reporting
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems: switchgear, UPS, generators, distribution, and grounding
- Excellent communication, time management, and analytical skills
- Willingness to travel extensively (50% or more)
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and schedule performance metrics
- Experience supporting hyperscale or colocation data centers
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- PMP or PSP certification
- Strong understanding of sequencing, commissioning, and turnover milestones
