About the Role

Goliath Construction Consulting is seeking an experienced Traveling Electrical Project Scheduler to manage and maintain project timelines for large-scale electrical builds across multiple locations nationwide. You’ll ensure schedules align with construction milestones and support the delivery of mission-critical data centers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to plan all electrical construction activities
  • Track schedule progress and identify risks, delays, and recovery strategies
  • Conduct weekly and monthly schedule updates and reporting for stakeholders
  • Review subcontractor and vendor timelines for integration into master schedules
  • Travel to project sites nationwide to verify progress and collaborate with field leadership

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of electrical or MEP construction scheduling experience
  • 2+ years of experience on data center or mission-critical projects preferred
  • Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel-based reporting
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems: switchgear, UPS, generators, distribution, and grounding
  • Excellent communication, time management, and analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively (50% or more)

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and schedule performance metrics
  • Experience supporting hyperscale or colocation data centers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • PMP or PSP certification
  • Strong understanding of sequencing, commissioning, and turnover milestones
