Remote | Travel Required for Onboarding

Position Overview

Goliath Construction Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a well-established national electrical contractor seeking an experienced Skilled Trades Recruiter to support its growing field workforce.

This position can be remote, but candidates must be willing to travel as needed, particularly during the initial onboarding and training period. All business-related travel expenses will be covered. Construction field recruiting experience is required.
Electrical construction field experience is preferred, but we will consider strong recruiters from any field construction discipline who can consistently deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit skilled electrical trades professionals to support current projects and future workforce needs.
• Develop and maintain candidate pipelines through job boards, social media, referrals, industry relationships, career fairs, and other sourcing channels.
• Partner with operations, field leadership, and HR to understand manpower requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies.
• Manage candidates throughout the recruiting process, including screening, interview coordination, follow-up, and disposition.
• Maintain accurate and timely information within the company’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruiting platforms.
• Participate in career fairs, recruiting events, community outreach, and employee engagement initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of skilled trades recruiting or staffing experience; electrical construction experience strongly preferred.
• Experience recruiting electricians and other construction craft professionals in a high-volume or project-driven environment.
• Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems, recruiting databases, job boards, social media, and other sourcing tools.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Self-motivated, able to manage multiple recruiting priorities and work effectively in a remote environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel for onboarding, training, recruiting events, and other business needs as required.
