Our client is seeking a qualified Senior Electrical Project Manager (Nashville, Tennessee) who will lead and manage complex commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical systems, proven leadership in field and office settings, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, on-time, and on-budget results.
Senior Electrical Project Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of electrical construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and coordination with field teams and subcontractors.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, engineers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project scope and goals.
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Monitor project progress and implement strategies to mitigate delays, cost overruns, and scope changes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations.
- Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports.
- Mentor and support project engineers and junior project managers.
- Participate in project forecasting and financial reporting.
Senior Electrical Project Manager Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in electrical project management, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, local electrical codes, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license a plus.
