We are recruiting for a Senior Electrical Project Manager (Fort Pierce, Florida) to lead large-scale commercial, institutional, and light industrial electrical construction projects valued up to $75M. This leadership role oversees all phases of project execution, from preconstruction through closeout, while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong client relationship skills and a proven track record managing complex electrical construction projects for a reputable contractor with a strong backlog and long-term growth opportunities.
Electrical Project Manager Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple large-scale electrical construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, change management, and profitability.
- Direct project teams including Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and field personnel.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, vendors, and design teams to support successful project execution and future business opportunities.
- Coordinate project schedules, manpower planning, procurement, and subcontractor performance to meet operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards, contract requirements, quality expectations, and all applicable codes and regulations.
Electrical Project Manager Qualifications
- 5+ years of electrical construction project management experience with demonstrated success managing large commercial, institutional, or light industrial projects.
- Proven experience leading electrical projects valued up to $75M in scope and complexity.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and team development skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
