The Senior Electrical Project Manager – Data Centers (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) will lead large-scale, mission-critical data center projects. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing multiple projects, driving financial performance, mentoring project teams, and serving as the primary point of contact for key clients and stakeholders.
Senior Electrical Project Manager – Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple data center projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Oversee project financials, forecasting, budgets, and profitability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders
- Mentor and support Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers
- Lead project planning, scheduling, procurement, and risk management strategies
- Oversee contract administration, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
- Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and contract compliance standards
- Coordinate staffing, resources, and project execution across multiple teams
- Drive successful project delivery while identifying opportunities for business growth
Senior Electrical Project Manager – Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management (data center, mission-critical, or large commercial/industrial projects strongly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of project financial management, estimating, scheduling, and procurement
- Proven ability to lead multiple projects and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- PMP certification is a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 40%
