Electrical Project Executive (East Los Angeles, California) Position Overview:
Goliath Construction Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a leading electrical contractor seeking an experienced Project Executive to oversee multiple large-scale electrical construction projects throughout the Los Angeles market.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven electrical construction leader to drive project success, mentor Project Managers, and oversee the financial and operational performance of a diverse portfolio of work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical contracting, experience managing high-performing project teams, and a track record of delivering complex projects across healthcare, manufacturing, commercial, and mission-critical markets.
This is a 100% in-person position, working from both the office and active project sites in the Eastern Los Angeles area.
Electrical Project Executive Responsibilities
- Provide executive oversight for multiple electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Lead, mentor, and support Project Managers responsible for projects
- Drive project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and profitability
- Partner with field leadership to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, architects, and project stakeholders
- Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to maintain successful outcomes
- Review project schedules, staffing plans, change orders, and contract administration
- Foster accountability, leadership development, and operational excellence across project teams
- Support business growth through client relationships, strategic planning, and operational initiatives
Electrical Project Executive Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience with an electrical contractor
- Previous experience as a Project Executive, Senior Project Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role
- Proven experience managing and mentoring Project Managers overseeing $5 million to $15 million+ electrical construction projects
- Strong background delivering healthcare, manufacturing, commercial, and mission-critical/data center projects
- Hospital design-build strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success managing project financials, forecasting, contract administration, and client relationships
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Stable work history with a demonstrated commitment to previous employers
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
