Electrical General Superintendent (Dallas, Texas) Overview:
Our client is seeking a qualified Electrical General Superintendent (Dallas, Texas) to provide overall field leadership for multiple electrical construction projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution from start to finish. This role works closely with project managers, superintendents, and clients to drive schedule performance, workforce planning, and operational excellence across all assigned projects.
Electrical General Superintendent Responsibilities:
- Lead field operations across multiple projects, overseeing superintendents and ensuring alignment with schedules, budgets, and specifications
- Review plans and provide technical guidance on electrical installations to ensure quality and constructability
- Develop and manage manpower plans, project schedules, and workforce allocation
- Partner with project management to monitor budgets, cost codes, and production performance
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, QA/QC requirements, and company policies
- Track project progress, review reports, and provide updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, and project partners
- Support hiring, training, and development of field personnel, including performance evaluations and mentoring
- Conduct jobsite visits to monitor safety, quality, and productivity across all phases of construction
Electrical General Superintendent Qualifications
- Active Journeyman or Master Electrician license (Texas preferred)
- Strong background in electrical construction with leadership experience across multiple projects
- Experience in commercial, industrial, data center, or aviation projects preferred
- Solid understanding of budgeting, scheduling, manpower planning, and cost tracking
- Familiarity with estimating processes and construction documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); experience with estimating software (e.g., Accubid) a plus
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel to project sites and work in varying field conditions as required
