Commercial Service Electrician (Washington, DC) Position Overview:
The Commercial Service Electrician (Washington, DC) will manage the completion of various electrical tasks such as electrical break & repair, troubleshooting/maintenance, and service upgrades for new & existing commercial clients.
Commercial Service Electrician Responsibilities:
- Report directly to Service Manager
- Operate company vehicle
- Perform scheduled service calls
- Perform small construction projects
- Install interior and exterior lighting
- Install dedicated circuits and receptacles
- Provide troubleshooting to clear problems
- Keep vehicle fully stocked
- Manage tools and equipment
- Work closely with the customer to ensure correct installation
- Keep current with NEC and local electrical codes
- Available for overtime as needed
Commercial Service Electrician Qualifications:
- Journeyman Electrician License
- Experience with performing commercial service work (troubleshooting and installations)
- Customer-oriented, good with people
- Computer literate
- Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
Commercial Service Electrician Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate
